CHAINS: Lengths, Measuring and Additional Chains

A 16" chain is supplied as standard, but longer chains are available on request at no extra cost. Please indicate on the order form which length you require from the details below.

Thick slinky snake chains: 16", 18, 20, 22, 24, 26 & 30 lengths available.
Thin slinky snake chains: 16", 18, 20, 22, 24, 26 & 30 lengths available.

A lot of people prefer closer fitting necklaces. Shorter length chains are can be specially made to order. me with your requirements

I am unsure of what chain length I require?
Either measure a favourite necklace of a length that you like or if you are unsure about which length you require, use a piece of string with a knot in one end and bring the other end loosely around to where you wish the necklace to sit. (Please remember that the pendant will sit below this line - look at the approximate dimensions of each individual piece).

If the necklace is a gift, if you can, measure a chain that the person already wears. If this is not possible, please note that 16" is the standard length. If the length you purchase is incorrect I am happy to exchange it, provided the chain is returned unworn in its original condition.

Can I purchase an additional chain?
Yes, if you would like more than one length chain, extras can be purchased from me.

Determining your Ring Size:

If you already have a ring that fits the finger you wish to order it for, measure the inside diameter of it (in millimeters), enter this number (between 11.9mm and 25.0mm) into the converter below and click calculate to ascertain your approximate UK ring size.

Alternatively, measure the Circumference of your finger
Wrap a strip of paper or piece of string around your finger. Make a mark where the two ends meet. Use a ruler to measure the string or paper in mm (1cm=10mm) Then divide the number by 3.14. Enter the result in the calculator below.

I have made every effort to insure that the information above is correct. The best way to determine your ring size is with a finger sizer tool at your local jewellers. Ring Stretching & Reducing: It is possible to stretch or reduce most rings, such as wedding bands. If you have a ring that requires resizing, please me with your enquiry.

Bracelet Sizing: 1. If you have a bracelet that already fits you, measure the length of bracelet and make a note of it on the order. From this I can make it to your exact size. 2. If you have a bangle that already fits you, measure the inside diameter of that and make a note of it on the order. From this I can make it to your exact size. 2. Plastic bangle sizers can be purchased from the 'accessories' section of the website. 3. Measuring your hand Its easy to find your size for your new bangle, follow these simple steps: 1. You need to measure the widest part of the hand that the bracelet will slide over. 2. Go get yourself a measuring tape to measure your hand. 3. Squeeze your hand together TIGHT and measure the widest spot. The average size is around 7.5" - 8.0" depending on how big or small your hand is.

Oval - Bangle Sizing:
Many of the 'leaf designs' bangles are oval shaped so that the design sits on the front of the wrist and does not spin round to the back.

EARRING FIXINGS: Earrings on hook fittings instead of posts? All earrings, unless otherwise stated, have a 'post' fitting. If you prefer hooks, many of my designs can be altered to accommodate this fitting. Please me stating the piece you have in mind. There is normally no extra charge for this service. Can earrings be made into clip-ons? A lot of my designs can accommodate clip-on or screw back fixing earrings. Please me and I will be able to tell you if the style you require can be made into non-pierced fittings. Please note that there is sometimes an extra charge for this service.
